Yahoo, it's time for a fun day in the Alabama Hills.

Well it's not exactly a festival, but now that we have your attention, we would like to invite you to participate on some projects we are proposing in December.

On Saturday, December 6th, we will be meeting at the junction of Whitney Portal Road and Movie Road at 9 a.m. Scott Justham, BLM Park Ranger, will be leading a project to spread native seed and transplant native plants on the areas we rehabed last year. The project should last until early afternoon (12-2pm)

Wear comfortable clothes, shoes, and bring work gloves.

BLM will provide all of the tools necessary. Refreshments will also be provided.

We have tentatively scheduled similar projects on Sunday, December 7th and on Saturday, December 13th.

If you would like more information, Scott may be reached at 760-872-5034.

We hope that you can make it!
